In Oregon, US district judge Karin Immergut supported the position of local officials that Trump dispatching guard forces to the Oregon metropolis would probably escalate rather than calm protests.
âTodayâs ruling validates what local citizens already know: the legal system worked, and facts won out,â Oregonâs governor commented after the court order was granted. âThere is no insurrection in this municipality. No threat to national security. No blazes, no explosives, no fatalities due to social disturbances.â
