'Enduring a Horrific Ordeal': Loved Ones of Unaccounted For Teens Desperately Seek Information After Ski Resort Fire
The relatives of teens unaccounted for after a deadly blaze at a bar in a Swiss alpine town are confronting an painful wait for official news and requesting any details about their loved ones online.
The blaze devastated the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of south-west Switzerland, in the small hours of New Year's Day. Verified footage reveal the ceiling igniting as bottles with fireworks are held aloft.
Authorities have stated that it could take an extended period to identify the those who perished of the tragedy, which resulted in the death of 40 people and wounded another scores more. The national sporting body has said that he is dead, without mentioning the tragedy, honoring a "talented young man who represented passion and true sportsmanship."
