Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, owns several courses worldwide and frequently competes against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we have some close matches," she revealed.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply don't get nervous."
"He practically told me to compete and enjoy myself," she explained.
"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, so he's rather occupied."
As an amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions recently and has position 461 in AJGA listings.
However she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," Kai expressed.
"Furthermore, he's an even better human being. He suggested me to compete, relax, and go with the flow."

The LPGA stated that Kai's presence exposes golf to wider groups, particularly with youth audiences.
Kai has substantial online presence and has started her own apparel and wellness company.
The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
